Happy April! 

We are loving the warm weather, spring flowers, and longer days! It's the right time of year to bring even more events to ESC. Look out for our Edge to Edge Quilting seminar for embroidery machines on the 16th, as well as all of our regularly scheduled classes. 

Join us on Thursday April 25th for our Spring Fling! Carol Hanshaw from Checker Distributors will be showing the latest in Lori Holt designs and Creative Grids Rulers. We'll also be announcing the winners of the United Way quilt block challenge! Bring something to Show and Share, and enjoy great savings during the event. You won't want to miss it! 

ESC has been on the road recently! We were happy to visit with old and new friends at Jackson Mill a few weeks ago, and to participate in Elkins Main Street's First Friday Community Showcase last night. 

Need a new spring wardrobe?? Check out our selection of gauzes and knits. Make yourself a t-shirt or a breezy dress, and get ready for the warmer days ahead. 

Spring Fling

West Virginia Memories 

Block of the Month

Want to quilt more? We've started a new Block of the Month Class! Margy Burns will be leading the class through "West Virginia Memories," a quilt designed by Fran Kordek. Stop by the store to see the whole quilt. This is perfect for graduates of our Begin to Quilt class or anyone who wants to learn new quilt blocks. Class started last month, but we're still taking students who would like to join in! Get more details by calling 304-636-9480. 

Edge to Edge Quilting

Edge to Edge Quilting is a fun and easy way to finish small quilting projects at home! Use your embroidery machine to make perfect quilting designs every time. Vote for your Favorite Block! 

Voting has begun for the United Way Quilt Block challenge! Stop in and vote for your favorite blocks. The winners get gift cards to our store. Thanks to everyone who participated in this year's United Way quilt. You all did beautiful work!

First Friday Showcase! 

Did you see us at Elkins Main Street's first First Friday event? Sue and Kathryn had a blast showing off our spring samples and the new Designer Brilliance machine. It was great to see what other businesses and organizations are up to in Elkins! Find more info about other Elkins Main Street events on their Facebook page!
