HAPPY NEW YEAR! 

We at Elkins Sewing Center would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our customers your support and friendship in 2018. Thanks for participating in our events, taking our classes, supporting our small business, and brightening our days. We're excited to hit the ground running in 2019! Look out for new classes all through January, and get ready for our annual Super Sunday Sale on February 3rd. 

Did Santa forget to bring you a new machine? We can help! Come by and ask us about our whole range of Husqvarna Viking sewing, quilting, and embroidery machines. Whether you're a true beginner or embroidery expert, we know we have a good fit for you.

Beginning Quilting

Is your resolution to learn something new? We've got you covered! Make a wallhanging in the 4 week class taught by Margy Burns. You'll learn all the basics of piecing, applique, hand and machine quilting, and binding. For more info on this class or to sign up, give us a call at 304-636-9480. 

Color Theory 

Emily will be teaching Color Theory on the 19th! Come in and learn more about colors, shades, hues, tones, and how all of that applies to quilting. Bring your tricky colors and some fabric scraps to share. We'll be creating our own color wheel from fabric and magazines, and then using them to make great color combos from the fabric in the store! 

Raggy Quilt Class 

Winter has officially set in, and that means one thing...getting cozy! Let us help in this one-day class taught by Lola. Learn the Raggy Quilt technique and leave with all the knowledge you need to finish your quilt at home. 

Jelly Roll Rug

Jelly Roll Rugs are fun and easy, and we want to teach you how to make them! Join Emily for this half-day class, where she'll introduce you to all of the techniques needed to make a rug. Expect to go home with a partial rug. Finish it at home on your next snow day, or come back in and use one of our machines during Second Saturday Sewing Studio.
