December Newsletter

Happy December! 

And Happy Holidays to you and yours! We've been gearing up for the season throughout the month of November. The Durbin and Greenbrier Valley Railroad's yearly Polar Express excursion is in full swing, and downtown businesses have joined in the fun by setting up workshops for local and visiting children. We're making elf hats! And are we ever...We've already exceeded last year's count by almost 100 hats. If you're interested in participating, Santa's Workshop is open from 1-4 Wednesdays through Sundays. (Yes, this means we're currently open on Sundays afternoons through the 16th!) We want to give an extra special thank you to Jansen, our Teen Class elf volunteer, who's been coming in on weekends to help us out.

Beyond Elf Hats, Christmas has come to ESC in the form of samples, fabrics, embroidery designs, and notions! Check out our stocking stuffer selection, or peruse our Christmas panels. You won't want to miss our lacy applique table runners or our Typography machine embroidery projects. Stop in and we'll give you the tour of what we've been up to. 

Have a sewist or quilter on your shopping list? We can show you the latest and greatest in gadgets. Or leave it up to them! We've got gift cards available for any dollar amount. 

Designer Brilliance owners should note our new monthly Brilliance Day class. Kathryn will lead you through a project utilizing your Designer Brilliance's great features! Class scheduling is light this month due to the Holidays, but be sure to check our January offerings. We are hitting the ground running with Color Theory, Jelly Roll Rugs, and all of our regularly scheduled classes!
