July Newsletter

Welcome to Our Blog! 

Summer is in full swing at Elkins Sewing Center, and we're in the middle of tons of fun projects, including this: We're reviving our newsletter in a new form...this blog! We'll have one major post a month to keep you in the loop about everything we're up to, but check back in to find little updates, tips, and tricks from us to you. So, without further ado, here's what's been going on with us!

It's July...

and that means SUMMER. This month, we've survived the heatwave, celebrated Independence Day, and enjoy a downtown-wide car show! Last week, we invited 20 kids into our classroom for Quilt Camp. It was all hands on deck as we helped students finish quilts in one week. Check out our pictures below of the happy campers from kids classes...teens are still finishing up their more complicated projects!

We also are running all of our regular monthly classes, and students will be working on quilts, software, Epic/Ruby/Diamond machine classes, and of course, holiday presents during Christmas (in July!) Club. Stop by to see what we’re up to, check in over on Facebook, or give us a call to sign up for a class. We hope your summer is full of popsicles, watermelon, sparklers, and, of course, lots of fabric!
